Fabric Care
Fabric Care
A little care keeps your pieces looking new for longer. Always follow the care label first; these tips cover the basics.
Everyday pieces (cotton, jersey, rib knit)
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colors.
- Dry flat or hang to dry. Avoid the tumble dryer to prevent shrinking.
Delicates (mesh, lace, satin, sequins, embellishment)
- Hand wash cold or use a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle.
- Do not wring or twist. Press out water with a towel and dry flat.
- Steam rather than iron; if you iron, use low heat on the reverse side.
Denim
- Wash inside out in cold water and only when needed to keep the color deep.
- Air dry; heat can affect stretch and fit.
Tailoring and blazers
- Spot clean small marks and dry clean when needed.
- Hang on a wide hanger to keep the shoulder shape.
Swimwear
- Rinse in cool fresh water after every wear, especially after chlorine or salt water.
- Dry in the shade, away from direct sun.
